National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

According to the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC), Prostate Cancer is the second most common cancer among American men. Although hundreds of thousands of men are diagnosed with prostate cancer, very few die from the disease.

Depending on age, personal and family health history, prostate cancer screening is performed through a prostate specific antigen (PSA) blood test, and a prostate exam.  All men 50 and over should be screened annually.
